The Awesome 80s Prom, is a play and so much more. It is a blast-from-the-past party presented as an immersive interactive theatrical experience. It’s 1989 senior prom night at Wanaget High School.
All your favorite characters from your favorite 80s movies and TV shows are at THE PROM, from Michael Jay, the Class President - A preppie young Republican, from Louis Fensterspock the computer Geek to the “Heathers”/Cheerleaders, and they’re all competing for Prom King and Queen. And just like on “American Idol,” the audience decides who wins, all while moonwalking to retro hits.
Come “Back In Time,” and join the breakdance circle or just sit back and watch the 80s drama unfold. Come on, you know you have a Members Only jacket or a box of perm somewhere… and if you’re lucky, you’ll even get to dance with The Captain of the Football Team.
